YMCA 2017 Celebration of Youth Awards

The YMCA Celebration of Youth Awards 2017 was celebrated April 29, 2017. The awards honor youth whose outstanding talents and achievements have made a difference in our community and have contributed to the well-being and future of our society. The YMCA and community partners are extremely proud of the opportunity to recognize 8 remarkable individuals in our community. Each recipient receives a $1000 scholarship.

YMCA Youth Leadership award – Shannon Rogers – sponsored by the YMCA across Southwestern Ontario
Technology & Trades Award – Nathan Bjelis – Sponsored by Akromold
Volunteerism & Community Service Award – Evan Krebs – Sponsored by Friends of the YMCA
The Rotary Club of Goderich has partnered with the YMCA since the program was
established seven years ago. The Rotary Club of Goderich along with a group of other
caring local sponsors supports the YMCA’s efforts to make a difference in Huron County.
