We were pleased to have as our guest speaker Michael Dawson. Retired from the diplomatic service and holding a Doctorate in European History he provided the group intriguing insights into the present world circumstances and how we arrived here. He began with a history of NATO, it's impact on Europe and the world, branched out to his time serving at the Canadian Embassy in Moscow. and his many other postings. he retired in 2014 after spending time as a Canadian Political Advisor at NORAD. A hugely interesting presentation.
