The United Way Perth-Huron 2018 campaign is well underway running until March 2019. We were pleased to have at our meeting today the Chair of the Goderich Community Committee, John Grace and the newly hired Manager of Resource Development and Community Impact of the GCC, John Clarke, who shared with us the mandate of the committee; to identify social issues directly impacting the Goderich area . The goal through community consultation over the next year is to develop and put in place a strategy to deal with our most pressing needs. It was stressed the monies raised by our community stay in the immediate area. The fund raising goal for Goderich is $67000 of a UWPH goal of $1.44M.
